Smurfette

I had all intentions of doing a "To Do List Tuesday" this evening, but things have just been too busy lately! Too busy for a "To Do List"... now that's almost sad!

Tonight, Alex and I ran over to Target to pick up a few things. We were leisurely going through the food isles, looking at interesting items. We spent some time in the baked goods area and were looking at the spices. I picked up a couple of them. And put them back. And then we wandered to the next isle. I looked down at my hand and noticed it had blue ink all over it. I thought a pen had exploded, but I don't have a blue pen nor had I been near one. It was still wet too, and really, it was all over my hand.

I remembered that we were just near the spices and I had picked up a box of food coloring. But I put it back. I went over and looked at the box I had picked up to see if the blue had leaked, but it hadn't. Then Alex picked up one of the spices and got blue coloring on his hand.

Upon closer examination, we figured out that someone... mostly likely a really mean, horrible person, had put big drops of blue food coloring all over the tops of all the spices.

Meanwhile, everything that my hand was touching was turning blue... my shirt, my purse, my hair... everything! So we went up to the customer service area to let them know what had happened and they sent someone over to clean it up. I went to the bathroom to scrub my hands. (It was all over both of them by now.) I scrubbed and scrubbed, but it really wasn't coming off very well. But at least it was dry and wouldn't come off on everything I touched.

We purchased our few items and went home. I'm pretty sure the inside of my car probably has blue food coloring all over the drivers seat, since the fleece I was wearing had it all over the sleeve.

Here's a photo of my hand, after I scrubbed it numerous times. I was really not very amused by this prank!

Try cheap toothpaste. Not the gel, but paste. I use that for EVERYTHING.
