Alex had a track
meet this afternoon. I was able to get there right before he ran his first ever 400 meter run. He had only run that distance in practice, so he wasn't sure how he'd do in a meet. He said "I just don't want to come in last."
Well, he ended up doing really well! I think he found the perfect event for him. He ran a great race, had a great time and won his heat by quite a lot.
Look at that stride as he crossed the finish line with ease! Next week he might be up in the "fast" heat and do even better with his time.
